Pick up some organic pearl barley flakes refills from the Just Gaia Zero Waste grocery for a really good recipe base perfect for cereal, baking or savoury recipes.

These barley flakes do make for a great base for your own muesli, especially combined with some of our jumbo oats and some trail mix. But you can also make a really tasty and chunky porridge with them too.

A number of savoury recipes also call for the use of barley flakes too. No matter what you eat them in, they provide a great number of nutrients and provides many positive health benefits, including potentially helping with weight loss, lowering of cholesterol and reducing the risk of heart disease.

Above you can order a refill of our tropical muesli in the quantities provided. We’ll pack this in a brown paper refill bag for you from our plastic free shop. Should the quantity you’d like not be available, you can add to your basket more than once. Let us know in the collection/delivery notes if you would like it as one portion instead of bagged separately.

Allergy information: this product contains Barley. It is stored safely in the Just Gaia plastic free shop inside gravity dispensers. While there may be traces of other products, all measures to avoid cross-contamination are taken by our staff.

COVID-19 Pandemic Note:

While the Covid-19 situation continues we want you to feel safe visiting Just Gaia when you come to The Piece Hall.

Current status: currently we are OPEN.

Due to the release of restrictions you can visit us in The Piece Hall 7 days a week. Our latest hours are on Google but expect to be able to visit between 10am and 4pm weekdays, 10am and 5pm Saturday and 11am and 4pm Sunday.

Of course it's always a good idea to buy in advance, you can shop online and collect in store. Or, if you would like your order delivered you can both locally and nationally.

Click and Collect - Order and checkout online securely and pick-up from Just Gaia in The Piece Hall, Halifax
Local Delivery - Zero emissions Cargobike delivery via our friends at Cargodale within HX1 to HX6
National Delivery - We will post orders around the UK for selected products - this does not currently include dry food refills.
