One of the Just Gaia family will put this in a jar for you or you can bring your own.
That’s right, we make our own fresh peanut butter right in the Just Gaia Zero Waste grocery. And it’s very tasty as we’ve learned since we first opened our doors and our visitors tried some.
In fact, we often have people back for return visits on the same day after eating a bit too much walking around The Piece Hall!
Our machine is a specialist nut butter maker and we serve fresh peanut butter, roasted extra rich for more flavour. There is nothing else added, the peanuts are roasted in a light blanching of oil and roasted. No added flavours, preservatives or anything other than ground, roasted peanuts.
It tastes lovely, especially when freshly made. It will naturally last 6 months too which can be stored in the cupboard or fridge.
The options are for our own jars at present, if you wish to purchase a different amount we can do this by weight in Just Gaia, Halifax.
Allergy information: this product contains peanuts. It is stored safely in the Just Gaia plastic free shop. While there may be traces of other products, all measures to avoid cross-contamination are taken by our staff.

COVID-19 Pandemic Note:
While the Covid-19 situation is affecting our community we want you to know the latest information. Our main goal is to keep you all as safe as we can, along with our friends at The Piece Hall.
Current status: currently we are OPEN by appointment in reduced hours capacity. Due to the lockdown, we are open for collections from online orders:
- Tuesday & Wednesday - 10 am until 2 pm
We are open for collections and shopping appointments
- Thursday, Friday & Saturday - 10am Until 2pm
This means Monday - Tuesday we have no access to The Piece Hall, but you can shop online here.
Collection and Delivery Information
Just's Gaia is here to help you go plastic-free, even if can't make it in to see us! You can use the following services:
- Click and Collect - Order and checkout online securely and pick-up from Just Gaia in The Piece Hall, Halifax
- Local Delivery - Zero emissions Cargobike delivery via our friends at Cargodale within HX1 to HX6
- National Delivery - We will post orders around the UK for selected products - this does not currently include dry food refills.

You can best access Just Gaia in The Piece Hall via the Woolshops entrance or the North Gate.
