For those of you out there thinking, how do I reduce the plastic in the kitchen, check out this dish washing soap bar from Primal Suds. Going by, “Dish Splash”… make your own mind up on the pun guys,,, this washing up bar is exactly what you need to go zero waste while cleaning the dishes.

Like all products in the primal suds range, this bar is full of natural ingredients. It’s vegan friendly and completely zero waste, even coming in compostable packaging.

Performance-wise, it’s one of our favourites. In the Just Gaia cafe, we use Dish Splash to clean up our coffee cups and plates. We find it goes straight through grease, dried on milk and chocolate with ease.

It also leaves the glassware nice and shiny!

If you want to get away from plastic washing up bottles entirely. Including the need to refill them, why not give one of these a try?

Ingredients & Use of Your Dish Washing Soap Bar – Dish Splash

Instructions for use:

Fill your sink with water
Get your soap bar wet
Rub a brush, cloth or sponge over the top
Get your dishes in the wet and wash away.
Rise the dish and then dry

Keep your soap in Primal Suds soap ladders or a soap bowl to keep soap dry and fresh when it’s resting. Like natural soap, there are not as many bubbles in terms of the bowl when you get them going. Bubbles look nice but do nothing to clean your pots and pans so don’t worry.

We find with our use they last a couple of months, this will vary if you have a dishwasher and how well you keep it dry between washes.

INGREDIENTS: Sodium cocoate (Coconut oil), Aqua, Glycerin*, Sodium carbonate

*Naturally occurring in soap making process. Palm Oil free.

It’s compostable packaging as standard. There’s no harsh chemicals, palm oils or any other nasty stuff in there. Plus, they use their own twist on essential oils and minerals to make products for different skin, hair and general uses.

To be honest, they smell amazing in our shop and love the whole range. The fact there are some, ahem, rather comical names and some a little not so family-friendly, also makes them pretty fun.

COVID-19 Pandemic Note:

While the Covid-19 situation continues we want you to feel safe visiting Just Gaia when you come to The Piece Hall.

Current status: currently we are OPEN.

Due to the release of restrictions you can visit us in The Piece Hall 7 days a week. Our latest hours are on Google but expect to be able to visit between 10am and 4pm weekdays, 10am and 5pm Saturday and 11am and 4pm Sunday.

Of course it’s always a good idea to buy in advance, you can shop online and collect in store. Or, if you would like your order delivered you can both locally and nationally.

Local Delivery – Zero emissions Cargobike delivery via our friends at Cargodale within HX1 to HX6
National Delivery – We will post orders around the UK for selected products – this does not currently include dry food refills.
