It can be quite daunting using a Saftey Razor for the first time, but we guarantee once you start using them you’ll never be able to go back to your old habits.

Firstly, you will be saving money in the long run, for example: if you were to shave your legs 1 to 2 times per week, you will get around 7 shaves out of each blade. This is 35 shaves per refill pack. You would only need to spend £2 a year on blades.  That doesn’t include the 10 blades you get complimentary within the pack.

This kit consists of;

Your safety razor is weighted just right to glide across your skin and leave it feeling super smooth. This is thanks to the superior edge blades that fit snugly into your razor. This will give you the closet shave and smoothest skin time and time again.

It is also a great choice if you suffer from ingrowing hairs, as unlike other razors with multiple blades, it doesn’t tug and cause irritation and cause the hair shaft to break below the skin which may result in bumps

The added benefit of the traditional safety razor is the gap between the blade and the frame, allowing hairs to escape the head of the razor, rather than getting stuck like in disposable heads.

To change your blades

It’s really simple to change the blade when needed, simply:

1. Unscrew the handle to separate from the head
2. Then remove the back of the razor
3. Remove the blade via the blunt sides.
4. Unwrap a new blade and place the new blade in.
5. Put the razor back together again.

Care:

Clean after each use and pat dry to increase the usage life of each blade.

I can’t stress how nervous I was to try a razor like this since I was very used to my mainstream sets. I am not ashamed to admit, I was very daft to be so worried.

The saftey razor really glades across my face and takes off the hair so effortlessly I use far less repeating strokes while shaving and have better skin for it. I would highly reccomend from a male point of view…

Similar to Ross, I was a little woried and shaving my legs rather than my face, it was a little different. Plus, these types of razors are generally associted with men.

But, i will no longer use any other shaver after using these. It cuts the hair effortlessly and makes for silky smooth legs with very little effort.
